Dr. Michael Huppert has been practicing principled, specific, scientific chiropractic in Athens since 1989. He is an honors graduate of Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts; an honors graduate of Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia; and is on the extended faculty of the top three principled chiropractic schools in the United States - Life University, Palmer College of Chiropractic, and Sherman College of Chiropractic. Dr. Huppert's practice members include: Olympic, professional, and collegiate athletes, UGA coaches and their families, local chiropractors, medical doctors, pharmacists, physical therapists, nurses, and many more in the health care field.
In addition to treating many top athletes and "couch potatoes", Dr. Huppert has extensive experience treating pregnant patients. and has maintained one of the largest pediatric practices in the Southeast for more than twenty years. He was personally trained by Dr. Larry Webster, the inventor of the Webster Uterine Constraint technique and commonly regarded as the "father of chiropractic pediatrics". Over the past thirty years, Dr. Huppert has added different types of instrument adjusting (Activator and Torque Release Technique) physiotherapy modules to help him treat more complex conditions and athletic injuries.
Dr. Huppert is married to his lovely wife, Lorraine, and is the proud father of two boys, Ki and Dillon. He is originally from New York City but has lived in Athens since graduating from Life University in 1989. He enjoys running, yoga, working out, good eats, spending time with his family, and cheering on the Dawgs during football season
